Steak and Profitable Detailing

Hungry? Yeah, me too! So, you go to a nice family restaurant and order a juicy steak with a side of fresh cut fries, a soft drink and some desert for later. You add a hot dog for your kid along with a milk. You then explain to  the waiter that you are only willing to pay for the hot dog. Will they give you the steak for the price of the hot dog?

No, they will laugh you out of the restaurant. Don’t provide a steak-level detail for the price of a hot dog. If your client orders a hot dog, give them the best hot dog you can deliver. If they order a steak, give them the best steak in town. Always detail at a profitable level!
